I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

JDeleMent wrote:Ohhh, ok. I see, so the Spoon rims really do have the sticker on them then. I wonder why the actual spoon sports website doesn't show them with the name then... huh thx for clearing this up guys. Pretty good reply for my first post on the JDM com. :D
Some do not have the sticker on them. Older ones were ALL flat black with no stickers (save for the Desmund sticker on the inside). Spoon is now manufactuing them with a yellow sticker on each wheel, because so many companies sell knock offs

To bring the truth from the Dead. Spoon did not manfacture shit, inlinefour.com made the stickers and classified them as the "NEW Sw388's"

so none came with stickers!

Spoon rims are overrated. Why pay hundreds of $'s more just to save 12 or so lbs total, instead of just buying a high quality knock-off? Who cares if they're PDM (Philippine domestic market/manufacturer) instead of JDM. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see spending that kind of $, for something that is so close to the ground and curbs.

Harsh words from someone with Spoon in his username..

12 pounds might not sound like much, but it's 12 pounds of unsprung weight. If you're only going for the style, get the slips. If you're actually going for function over form, get the SW388s.
