I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
This has gone way too far...(im not racist, or maybe I am?)
Ok, coming from someone who actually knows someone like this, the majority of what everything has been said here is, in fact, TRUE. My older brother, who I do love very much, dresses like this and flaunts his fake "bling" while being unemployed for the most part and then finally getting a job a gas station. He spends all his money on either clothes, shoes, hats, sunglasses, or "bling". He's 21 now, and is still living at home while I'm here living on my own and trying to make a living for myself. Yeah, he is stupid. He's a college dropout and imo, has no future. It's mean to say something like that about my older brother, but it's the truth. So yeah, when I see people like this walking around and thinking that they're cool and better than everyone else around them that doesn't look like them, I think it's incredibly ridiculous and sad, sad that they're blowing what little money they have on those things when they need help from the government just to get by. Trust me, I work at a grocery store, people of all colors are getting help, people that you would never even think needed help, and are taking advantage of it. I see a lady w/ a LV purse and wallet (yes, they were real), and here she is pulling out her EBT card; it's quite bewildering. But I guess you can say, people do these things because of image, whether it be wearing XXL tee shirts, flashing fake "bling", having gold teeth, or carrying around fake Gucci/Prada/LV etc. purses; it's what they see and they get bought into it. It's stupid, and they don't realize it because they see all these rap stars or hot celebrities doing it, so they figured that since they do it, it must be cool.

Living in Miami, everywhere you go, you see kids like this. I actually work in an area where a lot of these kids live and it's hillarous to see them talk, act, just everything about them. They swear that they are better than everyone else just b/c of the fact that they are drug addicts and all. Also, @ my job, I sell the the long t-shirts the sizes go up to 6xl and I remember kids going back to school shopping and buy them in all colors. I've met some kids that dress like this but they actually have manners and everytime I come across somebody like this which is rarely I completely change my attitude around them.
I used to wear long shirts (extra large) and all in middle school and I remember how people used to talk to me (teachers, etc). The following year in high school, I was a prep and what a difference that made when talking to teachers, etc.
I'm really used to people like this but sometimes they get really annoying and you just want them to act normally.
