I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Hey everyone,

I'm the SC event promoterdirector for Right Coast Tuners. I've seen some concerns about our shows and I'll try to clear them up the best I can.

First, DDS Showdown: The reason we started this new format is we heard over and over again from all sorts of car owners they were tired of "regular" car shows. They have all this money into their cars and nowhere to run in a legal setting.

We decided to put this show on to recognize the "core" of the SC industry, you. You're the ones buying all the parts and cars...driving this industry. It's time you guys get recognized...instead of the guy with all the corporate sponsors where money is no object.

That's why we are featuring the winners in HCI magazine, as well as giving you $1,000!

We want to find the best overall car and driver. Not the guy who put the most money into his car.

I know this is a new idea, but this is the perfect opportunity for you guys to stand up and show what you can do...and get recognition for it!!!

I plan on doing a series of these event up and down the East coast, but we need support to make it happen.

OK, SCTB in Syracuse. Not sure what is meant by only "friends" win. I had the judges come in from out of town so just that thing wouldn't happen. If you give me a specific example of this I'll check into it with the judges and give you an answer.

If you look at our site we will give away over 200 trophies this year. We where asked to expand classes by car owners...and we did.

If anyone has any concerns about either of our shows...call me direct.

That's the only way our shows get better..

Thanks,
Rob

Let me know where you are planning on stopping along the east coast. I might be able to help you promote and handle some PR.
