I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Exhaust systems?

Post by 2.SloEK » February 03, 2005

i was looking around for an exhaust i want the apexi N1 but i saw this one too Image "A'PEX's interpretation of how each vehicle's exhaust system should have looked and performed right from the factory. Designed with the daily driver in mind...focuses on drawing out mid-range torque and engine response for optimal drivability on the street. so the N1 or Sport????

If the car is a daily driver I wouldn't get an N1 just because of the scraping issues that Jawn has. It would drive me nuts.

My vote: Sport.
Built Motorsportswear - Function/Form Autolife - ICB Motorsports
Go Autoworks
- K-Tuned - My friends

I have the sport on my civic. You can't even hear it on the inside of the car, but outside it sounds pretty quite and deep. I think it looks really good too.

i had an n1 on my civic and even when it was slammed almost tucking 14's I only scraped if i was an asshole and blew over something in the road.... as long as you're careful and drive slowly on bumps and such, you'll be fine. Even on my integra, I've got a greddy power extreme 2, which sits just like the n1, but the canister is a bit smaller, and I've got no clearance issues unless i'm not careful.

N1 gets my vote

the n1 from a hatch to a coupe is different. the rear ends are different sizes and apex uses the same canister for all the applications. since the hath has a shorter rear end they had to take the piping under the lca and thats why it sits at such a crazy angle. i think the n1 looks amazing on ludes. i have a buddy here that had/has one on his lude (im not sure if he sold the car or not, munster rager sell his?)

but i say n1.
