I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Finally finished up my tint this weekend. Did the sides (35% front doors, 5% rear doors and quarter glass) and "eyebrow" (5%) myself, and after many failed attempts at the back window, paid someone to do it , he's does it for a living, and has been doing it for 20 years, f'd up 4 times before getting it to work, so i don't feel so bad, considering i've never tinted a car before. Rear glass 5% as well. I also had him tint the rest of the windshield (from the eyebrow down to the bottom) 50%. Can hardly tell from the outside, and can't tell at all on the inside. Kinda wish I would have went with 35% like I had on the xB and my red Civic, it helped with the sun/glare a LOT more than 50%, but it was SUPER dark from the outside, and I was always paranoid about getting pulled over.

Agree'd. A lot of that car is ghey. I hate the 98-99 rear end too. If I were to paint my Foz and try to make it look better, i'd have to do the ass lift.

Haha yeah its a dogomatic. Like I said, price was too good to beat. Unfortunately, one of the head bolt threads are damage, gotta take the block to a shop tomorrow in attempt to repair the threads, I don't trust myself to DIY lol.

So, helicoil on threads failed, gave up and bought a new motor, cracked the block where the starter mounts on install (torque converter wasn't all the way in), got the block welded, got everything back in, and finally running again. New motor is 10x stronger than old, 100mm 10:1 pistons, STi rods, etc etc. Also got borla replica headers to 2.25" catback with hfc and magnaflow muffler. Sounds real good. I can finally direct my attention back to the Impreza, where its truly needed. Once I get the Impreza running, i'm going to address the body of the Forester, it needs paint and TLC.
