I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Well with the reefing hobby i'd say im starting to get into alot more Do It Yourself projects since there can be a lot of waiting and downtime. So for the new tank i'm setting up I am building my own LED ligth fixture. 12 Royal Blue, 10 Cool Whites (10k), and 2 True Violets hooked up to two dimmable drivers to control the white and blues seperately. This was my first attempt solding electrical components. I think its coming along well.

Here is a pick of the whites (2 blues) at about 50% power.

looks great!
i got into LED lighting myself the past few years with my haunted house. I'm in the process of converting the entire haunt to LED. right now all the spotlights are LED and i use a flickering candle bulb for my candle fixtures. Next year i hope to have LED candles hard wired. I had used the LED candles once but you had to turn each candle on as they were battery powered. i want to solder them to leads and run them to distro blocks per room so that way 1 power source will power each individual room.

That looks amazing ap, awesome stuff!

I like to kill wild animals with bows and guns, and catch fish in my spare time. Also do some competitive handgun shooting and archery tournaments in the summer.....good stress relief!
