I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

just curious i know prok0 does.
i wanted to get tables for YEARS but never got around to it. this tax return i think im going to be picking up the new native instruments traktor kontrol s4 midi controller and use my desktop for the time being till im able to put together some mixes. if anyone is familiar with traktor then ya know its dj software for the mac and pc. im familiar with the software but i never had any hardware to use it to its full potential. i know a lot of dj's like to use ableton i have the software but once again never used hardware with it. well native instruments put together a midi controller that works hand in hand with there newest traktor software so im pretty damn excited for it.
then i eventually want to pick up a mackbook and do some parties for some buddies and some small gigs around town.
im just curious if anyone here mixes or anything? if so what equipment are ya using?
here is a shot of the kontrol s4 and a short clip of it in action...

I really want a pair of Pioneer CDJ's to practice on, my buddy has a pair that I've been using and they are really awesome, but they are $$$$ even used.

I messed around with a Korg Pad and Kaossilator combo using MIDI's w/ Ableton. Nothing serious though. I stopped that when I picked up the guitar. Sometimes I make a drum beat to jam along to, that's about it.
Guitar is everything now
