I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

77, when I talked to Joel at the wedding he said your build was fairly stagnant. You get that RB running yet?

Very stagnant. I bought that Ducati, bought my M3 (both deals I couldn't pass up), got engaged, sold the Ducati, sold that Subaru coupe I had, moved, switched jobs, paid off a ton of debt, got realistic, and now I'm ready to get the RB running, then get Godzira running around it (specifically in that order).

I'm very lucky to have SS as a friend, very patient, very helpful that allowed me to hold on to the car without any headaches during all this time. My fiance' is good at forgetting that I have the car, only occasionally mentioning that it is worth money, doesn't do anything for me but cost money to store, but she's pretty good about my hobbies. Joel is nice enough that he's offered me his track bike whenever I should get the offer for free track time through my old boss.

In the end I'm really lucky to have made it through the low times without having to unload the project. I don't expect to own it forever, but I do intend to finish it the way I started; doing it "myself" with the help of friends made along the way. Getting a little older, with a little more money than I used to make, it's easy to see the things I would have done differently. It's mostly along the lines of appreciating the way people intelligently build up their Honda projects, with a plan, parts bought beforehand and with an attention to detail and quality that is undeniable. The difficult part of planning a build is ignoring fads, ignoring detractors, and just working on it until you get it to a point that you're proud of it. Then, possibly, driving it.

Good to hear everything is on the up and up finally.

I agree, whether it be a Nissan, a Honda, Toyota, or Ford - there is a difference between a build and just modding your car with whatever trend happens to be in. I hope God forgives all who 'stickerbomb' their front bumper or bike rack.

I look forward to reading more about Godzira
