I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

this was a totally new experiment i tried this year by bringing guests into a room and having them sit down for a little 'show'

this was the first time i ever edited a video in my life. haha i needed a video with a soundtrack to use for my 2010 home haunt.
i had the guests enter a room and sit down on a bench. at the start of the video you will hear 2 long drones. after the 2nd drone all the lights in the room would cut and you were sitting in total darkness. once the electric sound would start all the lights in the room started to flash and go crazy. all hell would break loose so to speak. once the tv noise/static would start all the lights would come back on and the guests eyes were glued to the screen for the short clip. after the face morph the lights would cut once again and thats when i would sneak into the room in full costume and stand in front of the guests, a spotlight would come on and i would be right in your face. this scare got EVERYONE! i would scream 'welcome to frightmare' then the room went totally black again and i would slip away into the shadows and the lights would then flicker back on. no one knew where i came from or what was in there face. the scare was priceless!
did i mention the room you were sitting in was the room this footage was filmed in? the scare was so damn effective! this video was self shot and self edited.
but yeah this is a short video i threw together for the room show of my 2010 home haunt. i know its not the greatest edit but it worked for what i needed it for.

the sounds from the video were all done by me and the effects in the video i did with adobe after effects. all the video cutting and cropping were done in imove. and i know the quality sucks but it worked out great for what i was using it for.

thats pretty sick sorry I couldnt make it up for it but my kids had to go trick or treating and it was on the same night down here as yours was up there lol

wassup folks. i am still alive haha. i have 1 more year left in japan and then its on to greener pastures. probably moving back to the states but europe might be in the picture as my mom moved to norway last month. hows everybody doing?
