I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

been pondering the 96-98 sir conversion as well. front conversion and the rear bumpers. paired with the 96-98 spec first molding lip of course. sir headlamps and considered a jun upper grill (if not then im going ctr)

wondering how that would flow with the matte black. im thinking pretty damn good  probably even paint the moldings to match the matte paint on the car.

Hahahaha I think you'd be the first person to go FROM 99-00 to 96-98 w/o getting in a wreck... I bet you could do a straight trade + cash on their side easy.

I've told John that I would make that trade.

I have the 96-98 front end in good condition with and authentic CTR grill, SiR headlights, Mugen lip, hood and fenders in great condition.

I don't care if I'm in St. Louis, I can make a trip if needed. lol

yeah i cant really stand that place, but they sell a package deal. i have yet to find another 'package' (at least the front & rear bumpers, headlamps, fenders, side markers, city lamp/side marker wiring & the front and rear moldings moldings) all BNIB. only suck factor is the fenders are not legit OE (OE fenders cut by password, so they consider them non-OE)

Nah. You don't want black w/ SiR parts.

I wouldn't change the exterior styling of your car. Maybe color match the lip/bumper or whatever, but the style works. Get that engine bay done first and foremost.
