I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

FYI Jon, not sure if you plan on doing any tracking with the car this year (or anytime) but most tracks won't let you have a battery relocated to the cabin (or trunk) without a vented battery box..saint wrote:yeah fo sho.

yeah josh i was gonna get a box if i track it. so who knows.
so i stumbled across this incredible paint color! and im thinking if i matte black the exterior.. my bay/interior/behind the bumpers/fenders/under the car i was gonna possibly do this OR just do the entire car this color:
just a teaser pic, don't want to give the color away dont want to see it start popping up all over the place. haha.
i guess since i will have the bay being sprayed first im going to see how this color really is in person then i will go from there. many will say doing a matte color will ruin the car but with the plans up my sleve i think i might be actually doing something 'different' in the honda scene with this one.
also i updated the first post with a pic of the cars current state & im going to start indexing the pictures.

I fucking love matte colors. I've been tossing around the idea of matte blue on the scoobie. Matte clear = $$ though hahaha.

its really not that 'gold' right now. haha i think it looks more of an olive/goldish color then anything but the name of the color is 'gold rush' so... ha.
