I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Ok I went by Adavanced auto last night and reset all the codes and the car drove fine, With the exception of the Surge...My new part should be in today.....let ya know what happens...
I will check the codes again after I put the new IACV on....Also While I was scanning through the codes teh guy was standing there and he saw one that was for a misfire and it showed up on 2 different codes....Now I am not sure why the cheap $40 dollar auto parts hand held code reader saw that and my mechanics $5000 piece of machinery didn't....

The mechanic obviously isn't that great, lol. And theres nothing wrong with those cheap OBD-II sensors, its when you have to read OBD-I codes of multiple manufacturer cars that it starts getting expensive

I carry a cheap ($60) OBDII scanner in the Dodge (which is for sale, btw) and it's helped a couple times. If you figure that at the tire stores I worked at we charged $90 for a "diagnostics check" (hook up a scanner and read codes), it pays for itself.

With all of those codes, Matt, I wonder if you might try borrowing an ECU from someone and see if a simple ECU swap might fix it. The Dodge was throwing a code for the cam sensor and I replaced everything the forums could come up with (cam sensor, crank angle sensor, reference magnet, clean MAP...) and finally gave up and took it to the dealer, who put in a new ECU and problem solved. Weirdest thing.

I do think you should get a wideband. Getting a bung welded in for it ought to be easy, any muffler shop should be able to handle that. Put it in about 3' downstream of the turbine and before the cat, if you have one. The instructions in the box will tell you the rest about the angle it needs to be at and so forth.

I think it just shows realtime AFRs. Not 100% sure though,

WHAT IT DOES

The AEM X-WiFi is the complete exhaust gas monitoring and tuning tool, combining the legendary AEM wideband UEGO and up to two EGT sensors in one compact, easy to install module. On top of that, the X-WiFi displays accurate, real-time, AFR and EGT data in a user-friendly layout via the standard web browser on virtually any WiFi enabled electronics device such as the iphone, droid, and storm2. The AEM X-WiFi also offers a 0-5v analog output for use with data loggers and virtually any engine management system, such as the AEM EMS or FIC. Data stream output is included for PC viewing of AFR and EGTs via USB cable.

WHY YOU WANT ONE

Easy to conceal, yet simple to connect to wirelessly, the AEM X-WiFi system features a Bosch sensor with an accuracy of .1 AFR, making it among the fastest and most accurate widebands available. When used with the two K-Type EGT sensors, the X-WiFi gives fast and accurate reference to real-time exhaust gas conditions, for easy power tuning. With clean and easy installation and simple data viewing, the X-WiFi lets you monitor your Air/Fuel Ratio and EGT from a wide range of wireless devices and can be configured for either direct (adhoc) or network (infrastructure) WiFi communication. Bottom line, the X-WiFi is a must have for tuners and enthusiasts alike.

Optional EGT sensors sold separately (AEM Part# 30-2067)

I need a new O2 anyhow. My AEM shit the bed. I think I'd have to get someone else to check the phone while I'm doing a fourth gear pull. haha.

Nevermind. $90 vs $450. I'll get a replacement sensor and log w/ my Hondata.
