I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

hm. guess its something i need to deff research and look into before i tuck my brake lines.

on another note, the battery tray didnt make it in yet. and im pretty much made up my mind with the itb's. i will be picking up a set, not sure when but i will be getting a set. toda makes a nice airbox for them for the street and obx was rumored to be making one as well.

also i was told u can find some motorcycle air boxes that will fit this setup for the street.

toda: Image Image

that is probably one of the most badass setups I've ever seen

my plan, my goal, my inspiration:

sandblasted inside and out, ever nook and cranny.
incredible.
Image big side holes covered: Image Image flawless: Image underside sandblasted and flawless: Image wheel wells, seam welds and flawless, the only thing i think i would of done differently would be sand the welds smooth? Image just needed to post that for inspiration. :) enjoy as much as i have.

That is just incredible.
I don't know how much I would grind off as far as welds and imperfections...

so today i took a walk out back to my hovercraft. Image pulled the cover off exposing my mess Image started to wire wheel the seam sealer Image Image before: Image with some removed: [dont mind the khaki color, i was just trying to get some type of coating over the bare metal and that can of paint was laying there.] it will be sand blasted back to bare metal once im ready to lay primer. Image where the battery and fuse box USED to sit: Image there is a shit ton of seam sealer in the back near the firewalls, im looking to pick up a cheap harbor freight engine hoist $150 and engine stand $60, B series comes BACK out after what it seems like it went in not to long ago. time to do it right.

Hmm, I removed the seam sealer from my chassis when I was screwing around with the firewall.
Glad to see other people doing it, I hadn't seen anyone else do it and was getting a sinking feeling that I effed the pooch.
