I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Picked up a hatch

Post by Highway-Star » April 26, 2009

I've been looking for a daily driver for about 2 months now, finally came across a deal that didnt go through the roof. First was a '95 integra, next was a '95 240sx, next was a '94 civic 4 door, then finally I got my hands on this. Its a '96, S title due to theft, but picked it up for very cheap. Its flat black with a silver metallic (cant see unless its cleaned up and the suns on it) but it looks very good. Body lines are great, never been in a wreck, etc etc.

Anywho, this is strictly a daily, so it will probably stay like this for awhile, I will fix the front bumper gaps, get a stereo, maybe some comfy seats, etc. But no crazy mods until Im done with the coupe!

Here's some pics: Image Image Image Image Image Image So figured I'd make a new build thread just in case I do start doing stuff to it :)

C&C welcome!

Good find man, the flat black looks to have been done professionally, eh? (the wipers and window trim look like they could use a little paint too)

Looks like it's perfect for... RAT ROD CIVIC! eh, maybe, maybe not. Good find though.

Thanks guys!
Yeah it was done professionally. I worked on the front end this morning, and I thought the bumper was a certifit bumper because it sagged, but turns out everything on the front end is OE other than the grill. The hood is proped up a little, so i need to adjust it down and get a new grill, then hopefully that will fix all the gaps.

And yeah, I'll be murderin it out! haha. I'll do the trim and wiper arms this coming week. I still cant drive it because I haven't registered it yet, so I can do some DIY's here and there.

Well, got the car registered and insured today, so its officially my daily! The coupe will be torn down and sent in for paint here soon. I ordered some interior goodies for this car to make it more comfy, so I'll update this thread as the parts come in.

Bought some shit for it. I'll be doing mainly OE mods to the car so its practical for a daily, but wheels and coilovers will be coming soon, same with an EK4 lip
OEM Honda Access window visors
OEM EK4 amber clock
OEM Honda antenna block off plate
OEM EK air vent pocket
And a fiberglass duckbill wing
