I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

possible new ride? bmx y0!

Post by .saint » May 01, 2008

so gas keeps going up and up. and i keep geting more out of shape everyday it seems so im really considering getting off my lazy ass and getting back on my bike 20". only drawback is my bike is old the parts are outdated and i just want something a lil lighter to play around with. here is the setup i plan on running, anyone who rides could vouch for some of this and throw in your 2 cents. im just trying to get it in my head the build would be wirth the money in the long run i gotta want to really ride this summer and right now i have the itch to shred.

frame: fit.ed 20.75 [color: mint; would like to raw it]
fork: fit blade lite [color: black]
bars: fit.ed 7.75 [color: black]
grips: animal edwin [color: black]
stem: animal jump off [color: black or brown]
headset: fsa impact integrated [color: black]
cranks: odyssey wombolt rhd 175 [color: black]
peds: odyssey twisted pc [color: black]
sprocket: animal 22t [color: black]
rims: gsport ribcage 36h [color: black]
f hub: gsport marmoset 36h[color: black]
r hub: primo mix cassette 8t rhd 36h[color: black]
seat: animal stitched [color: black]
post: animal pivotal [color: black]
chain: shadow interlock [color: black]
f pegs: gsport plegs
r pegs: animal lite

should be a bad ass setup and super super light. up to par with the way bmx is going now-a-days so i should be able to bring back what i know and can do and hopefully pull a few more tricks out of my sleeve

Seems like a decent setup. IMO I'd run a set of Profile cranks, though. Bulletproof.

I still have my FBM Live Wire, and I picked up a white FBM Bitchin Camaro over the winter. Just never put it together or bought any other parts for it. I want to race again.

I'm always out screwing around on the 20"er. Going to meet up with some guys to ride the concrete park in Pittsburgh soon.
