I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Finally lowered my car!!!.......kinda......

Post by Colin » April 13, 2008

Well a few of my buddies helped put in my suspension saturday. got 3 of the corners done but we could not get the rear shock out. the bolted connection to the trailing arm was giving us a huge ass problem. we put an impact wrench to it, a torch to it, 10ft of ghetto breaker bar to it, no budging.

Anyone know a place in pittsburgh that isn't going to charge me an outrageous amount to chop off the bolt and put a new one in? we'll pull the shock ourselves, we just need that facking bolt off.

Can you get a grinder in there? or a chisel and hammer? plenty of ways to get a bolt off if your not worried about saving it...

PB Blaster has been my friend on many occasions. If I know I'm working on something tomorrow, I'll start it soaking in the Blaster today. Makes a world of difference.
