I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

So yesterday I play COD 4
This morning I watch a mocie before work
Lunchtime.... NOTHING!!

All of a sudden my PS3 took a huge shit!!
It can't read crap. I got these two weird messages when trying to read a disk, and then boom ,after that, this thing doesn't do crap. Now I have to try and reformat the system to see if that helps. But they are sending me a box to ship this thing back to Sony and get a new one.

GAYZORZ!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am seriously pissed off now!!!!

This is why i didn't buy a 360

nope never had that happen... which PS3 did you get? 40 or 80? mines an 80 but i own a PS2 and i use the PS2 for movies and PS2 games where i use the PS3 for blueray and PS3 games so i duno...

Had it happend to me yet.. I hope it dosent, did you try holding the on button for like 5 seconds to reset the system?

Remembered I paid for extended warranty at walmart. Going there after work to exchange it. Hoping for the best...

Damn, that sucks... was it sitting on or near carpet or anything? I've heard that's what'll fry a 360 if you're not careful.

mine took a shit just the other day, but mine is out of warranty and i aint paying sony $150 to fix it when i just bought a $70 part that will fix it. mine was not reading discs anymore no matter what kind of disc it was. i took it apart only to find out that the motor for the dvd drive wasnt working (wouldnt spin disc so the ps3 wouldnt read it). i bout a new drive and its all fixed now so you all will see me on line now lol
