I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Haha dont worry guys! No FMU on this setup! I'm running a Neptune chipped P28, I'm going to get it tuned on the dyno..so I'll have a graph to show everyone!

As far as the black bay, the paint in the bay was nastyness, and one of my friends rebuilt his motor (B series..but oh well) Gloss black bay, with a bright silver motor. Just looked clean as hell. So thats what I'm doing. Car is staying silver, but the stripped interior is gloss black as well as the engine bay. Some people may not like it, but I guess its one of those personal preference deals, right?

Sound deadening is staying, for now anyways. :)

And yeah I'm notching the block today by the way, I read about that before I bought the rods

But thanks for the replies, I'll keep everyone updated!

Rip that sound deadening out and paint where it was, c'mon you know you want to save some weight... :)
Glad to hear you're not running an FMU, there was a ~300+whp stock block LS Integra but the kid ran an FMU and blew it to the moon pretty quickly. How much are you getting charged on that rollcage, or are you fabbing one up for it? Progress looks good man!

Me and my crew are going to fab one up ourselves, just buy the pipes and bends ourselves. Itll be a fun little project. I wanted to run a Cusco cage..but those are show only, not for any type of racing...so mine as well, make something. Do it the way I want to :D

But yeah, FMU's for the LOSS! I've learned my lesson haha. But yeah, I need to get some dry ice..or unless anyone has a better way of taking that shit out?

Nice work, its come a long way in a short time. After you get the block notched and the rods in spin the crank a few times, make sure the rods clear your crank girdle to.

I highly doubt you'll be disappointed!
Dry ice is the best way, otherwise you'll find yourself scraping it out and messing up your trunk (scratching it out) so I'd go with dry ice.
Good luck dude!

Energy Suspension motor mount inserts ordered

K not sure if anyone cares but I picked up some engine assembly lube today.. Image And after many days of waiting for a 10 minute job, I finally get my rods done...fit perfectly, ride smoothly, and yeah, free floating for the win. Now I just have to put the snap rings in, but im just going to pick up a set of snap ring pliers tomorrow. I've been needing a set anyways.. Image Engine re-build will start tomorrow
