engine harness, need help

here's the whole deal: i have a 97 jdm gsr swap in my ek coupe. my car is originally obd2 but i have the harness to convert it to obd 1. the owner of the car before myself, choped and hacked on the engine harness (the harness that comes from the ecu to the motor) and i really dont wanna put that "birds nest" back in it. so now here is where i really need some quick help and input, i would like to put another harness in it's place, so which harness will work. thanks for any sort of help

you can buy conversion harnesses from just about anywhere these days. check out hasport.

i dont need a conversion harness..... i need a new engine harness.... what i mean exactly (incase im not calling it the correct term) is the harness that will come from the obd conversion harness (which i have and will keep) to the connectors on the motor..

Get a '96-'98 Civic harness. The EX harness will be the easiest (should only need to wire in the IAB stuff). But if you use a CX/DX/LX harness you'll need to make a few more changes. Here's a link of those changes (and additional info):

thats exactly what you need. your car is OBD2, you want to convert it to OBD-1. you can get plug and play harnesses from hasport. now go look at there page. i demand it :)
