you won't have your warranty if you go boost. Bottom line. forget about it for now, save the cash, or spend it on some nice suspension... If you try and convince them, then you get denied at the dealer for having a turbo on your car, then you'll be screwed. CARB exemption has absolutely no bearing on this subject. Dealers will look for any reason to deny you service.... luckily (or not) my warranty only lasts 30k miles, so I've collected all the parts to rebuild my head... just waiting for the tick on the odometer... can't run n2o either, because it will leave deposits on the inside of the block, which could easily be detected, and you would be denied yet again... sorry.

i did buy the car myself.. and im in the process of paying for it, but they dont want me to add a turbo and void the warrnety.. theyll let me do other stuff, ive lowered it, and installed an intake and exhaust, but nothing major (ie swap, fi) untill the warrenty is gone, OR the car is payed of, whichever comes first.. im just impartient, and dont want to wait. it will take foreverto pay of the car, and 100000 milles isnt coming anytime soon, sothats why i wanted to do it NOW, oh well.. i sitll dont know what i want to do. i think im gettin thru to my mom, either that or shes just saying yes after everything i say, because shes clueless.. my father is just insane, and we dont get along well. so anything i want to do he is against.

intake will void the engine warranty. lowering it voided the suspension. and so on. its a no win situation. dont take it to the place u bought it to get it inspected. OR take the intake off and throw the airbox back on

yeah i took my car to honda once.. took off intake... took off header.. etc etc.... got it back with a bill for 75 bucks since they took it in.. a list of things wrong with it.. and the guy saying.. "ur missing a whole motor mount.. we can tell this car has been majorly tampered with.. you have no more warranty" I just got red in the face and left.. .

and about the mom thing... bro seriously... .just do minor mods... trust me once you go boost... you have to be on top of it if not things will happen..
