I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Well I bought a 91 accord coupe for a daily driver so I can keep the xb in the garage and keep the miles off of it.
I have a friend in japan trying to get me these TE16's. I hope I get these!!!

I've never owned a 16" rim let alone 7" wide. What would be a good size tire for these if I'm going to have about a 2.25" drop all around? I thinking like 195/45/16 or like 205/40/16....

my first recommendation to you is raise up the car. 2.25" drop is totally unnecessary in just about any situation unless you are a purpose built drag car with custom suspension (relocated end links, etc). one you have raised up the car you will expand your tire options a little bit because you wont have to worry AS much about rubbing issues. I recommend no lower then a 1.5" drop on any car that is not a purpose built race car. by changing the ride height you will notice an increase in ride comfort as well as the car will seem to handle much more "naturally." thats the best way for me to describe it.

A 205/40 on a 7" rim would probably go well with a 2.25" drop. A 45 series sidewall might be too much for that drop.

On an Accord run some 215/45/16s. Run at least a 205 but a 215 would fit easy if not even a 225. Very nice wheels btw. I never saw those before and I am shocked I have not.
