I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

I wanna mount it where my radio is now (up top, above the cubby hole)

I'm just not sure how to get my climate control off, I tried but it seemed like it would've broke if I kept trying. And I know I have to punch in the code to activate it but I'm not quite sure how. Just ordered the cd player on ebay for 58 bucks plus shipping so $74... and the dealer wanted $772. for it!!!! can you believe that!!!

i got mine for 55 shipped. good find none the less.

you need to pull the bottom part of the dash off. the left piece on the driver side then the middle piece. (you might need to pull the whole center console out from the shifter back to the ebrake because its a bastard to wiggle the middle piece out sometimes.. try to wiggle it out before u start taking all that apart)

open up the glovebox and there is 2 screws in there holding the center piece + 2 screws up near the ACC socket and 2 under the driver side panel...

taking the driver panel off there is a screw up near the switch location thing on the left side. there is a screw down below that under the dash and two on the right side near the center piece.

after you have those pieces out look up under the climate controls and you will see 2 bolts holding it in.. unscrew those and slowly pry. there are clips holding the top in place. after thats out install the cd player and put it all back together... (when your prying on the climate controls BE CAREFULL! i dont remember if there is any more screws i dont think there is BUT i could be wrong its been some time since i fucked with all that.

hope that helped.

hell yea that helped, thanks man... just one more question...

Do I have to do any wire saudering/soldering (sp)?

What causes cd players to skip when you go over bumps, is it because the wires arn't saudered/soldered (sp) together correctly?
