Painted the enigne cover

i like to use some Red Scotch Brite for scouring....works wonders...but 400 is a good grit to use also

I didn't mean me. I had said earlier that you helped me big guy. Kotomile taped the toyota emblem and the first V. He showed me how to tape it right, so it wouldn't be so rough. My bad Matt

that taping job came out really good....i see noobs just paint over everything...or the taping looks like crap so the end product look horrible

either way it came out good for your first time.

Yeah koto did it for some of it to show me how to do it. there is a little bit of blue on the emblem and on the letters. I am looking for a paint marker so I can fix it. But all my friends that I have shown it too really like it. So I am very happy.

haha ya when i painted my valve cover on my integra we didn't even take the dumb thing off! and we had paper towels surrounding it in my engine bay. painted over the letters and then i forget what we did but we "polished" the letters and sanded the paint off the letters lol stupid young impatient ricer days :-P
