I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

If he wants to stick with "stock" rods, then go with B18A rods. The rods do have to be machined to accept the Civic pins and crank, but he'll have an almost impossible time breaking them if it's done right. Back in the day people used to run serious boost on them.

If not, some 86-89 Integra rods were thicker and stronger than standard D series rods although they are still technically D series rods. If you can find an engine in a junkyard for cheap, it might be worth tearing apart and visually inspecting the rods to see if they're thicker/stronger than what you have. Again, it wasn't ALL 86-89 Integra rods so be careful. As far as I know there's no rhyme or reason for it.
I'm not happy unless you're not happy.
