I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

What of the lies and the outlandish "restocking" fee for a part that never was stocked in the first place?

a restocking fee for a part that isnt stock is usually charged because u CANNOT send parts back to the vendor without them wacking u a restocking fee.plus not to mention paying shipping to send it back.

and the lies, well i cant explain those,i dunno how they handle things there but i assure u mike wouldnt stand for it if he knew this is goin on.

So, I asked them again nicely to refund in full my purchase and they refused, and said they would HAVE to charge me a 10% restocking fee ($60!!) "to cover their asses with ACT". Now when I called ACT today, I asked the woman about this fee and she told me that ACT does NOT charge their sellers to cancel an order for a backordered item, so that was LIE #2!

ok..read that u just quoted..."ACT does NOT charge sellers to CANCEL AN ORDER FOR A BACKORDERED ITEM!!!!!!" thus meaning if the product is on backorder,u can simply call them up and cancel it B4 u get the product.but once the product has been shipped and u received it,u cannot return it to them without being charged a restocking fee.....

anything else?

EXACTLY MY POINT...the part IS still on backorder!
So why were they trying to charge me a re-stocking fee?!?!
It's not costing them a dime to cancel the order.

Yeah they suck. Bought a few new subaru engines from them, Way overpriced and way late getting here. First one had funky compression and blew up after 10 hour s, second one also had problems but we were able to put the heads on a new shortblock and get it it run. Don't know about the 3rd one yet, it's sitting on the shelf till we have some spare time to fiddle with it.

sometimes this is the shit some people have to deal with if they wanna whore numbers around between companies and get the cheapest price they can get...something for nothing is what everyone wants anymore....sucks to be the original poster on here though in this topic. And it won't be the last time you run into this type of problem.
the new and slightly improved...don't piss me off, and i won't f#*k with you!!! *gggrrrr*

It was on a dyno, being broken in at low speeds to get some time on it before we started messing around with it.
