I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

My H23 motor :(

Post by 99PreludeSh » July 09, 2007

So I picked up an h23 yesterday...didnt think it was this bad, so I decided to strip it down a bit.

And yes some girls can work on cars lol

Slow Image The perty hole Image The head comes equipped with gum balls and leaves Image Anyone want an automatic h23 tranny? Image Image When I took the oil pan off this is what I found in there lol Image Some parts also fell onto the ground Image Then I proceed to take the windage tray off to find the girdle mangled...oops Image Yummy Image I think the piston is a bit fried Image While attempting to take the head bolts out I managed to snap my snap-on socket...go figure Image

Haha I know I dont know how the kid could manage that...and he was NA.

I really just wanted the head so I could go for the whole g-series build, the f22 bottom end with the h23 head. Something different that no one has done around here yet. Im pretty stoked to finally have a project to work on.

That motor is toast. But hey props for being a girl and putting it down. Rock the g-series. Never heard of it, but if it is different then I am down.
