I am living proof that the admin of JDMU does not treat members/moderators of other forums any differently because of their internet "homes." As I saw it, there was a problem with certain posts in a certain thread that by now everyone should know what I am referring to. People from thejdm weren't the only ones banned for their posts in that thread which should go to show you that everyone was treated equally. You may think they were treated "poorly" but at least they were treated "equally poorly."

As I would expect Munster or .saint to do, anyone causing e-drama needs not be a member of a web forum. If that's all that someone is good for (regardless of their help on other forums) they shouldn't be there.

Regardless, I think everyone should move on. Beleive it or not, there aren't THREE different threads on JDMU about any posts from any members of thejdm.

Belive it or not there proboboly isnt any threds about thejdm on jdmu cause thejdm mods dont go around banning people.

Now I should have and was banned from jdmu cause I was being a fucking jackass, but if any member of thejdm posting on jdmu was banned for being a member of thejdm, jdmu can go suck a dick, thats just my stance though.

I'm sorry I can't explain the editing of "thejdm" from JDMU. I know there is a strict policy about advertising products/services/websites because there are vendors who pay for that privelige and they should have sole advertising rights. That's what they're paying for, right? So, free advertising is a slap in the face to companies that do want to help online forums grow. Why pay when you can spam, right? That's just my interpretation of it and I would personally like to see more companies support more online forums so the communities can grow as a whole and not bedominated by a singular juggernaut of hate like H-T.

I know that webites and space aren't free or even cheap so I would be defensive about my little corner of the internet just as .saint and Munster are about thejdm. If a million H-T haters came here and whored and spammed "H-T rules!", would you expect them to still be able to post tomorrow? Probably not, but what if you didn't hold it personally against the members but rather just censored "Honda-Tech" out? Maybe that's the more forgiving way - letting them contribute but limiting their spam abilities? I dunno, I ramble and am usually filled with cnspiracy theories anyway.

I think grudges and bombarding inernet sites with crap are childish, reflect negatively on the site the posters came to defend, and overall take away from the oline community they're suposed to represent, respect, and help grow.

If you guys want thejdm to grow and blow-up like the rest of us surely do, why would you sour the name with anyone? Everyone out there is a potential member unless you scare them off before they even find the site.

As a member and moderator of several forums, I wouldn't want the site to be associated with anone who attacked another forum in he name of, say, ClubEK (of which Illegal and I are supermods and Munster is a member). I would toss them right out for being anassclown and let them be without TWO forums at that point. Of course, some of you from JDMCivic probably know how I don't stand for shit so it's not a big surprise. I just have strong opinions and they usually manifest in shutting down ridiculous petty bullshit.

If we want the online community to grow, any stopping of advertising would inheritly be a negative effect on this process, I agree that blatant advertising of products and services is not nessicaraly acceptable especially if this goes unchecked but I feel that the censorship of another forum is pretty stupid. For example, if you are getting spammed by advertisments of Honda Tech, censoring all mention of honda tech is really not solving the problem, in some ways I suppose it is but in another your just assuming that all memebrs of Honda tech are then of the same caliber of those spammers which is not true I assume. But hey, your the mod so do what you see fit, obviously the way they are doing things at thejdm.com is not really the same.

Yeah I want thejdm.com to grow, and yeah my attitude twoards jdmu is really petty and childish, but hey, I don't think this website exists to become as big as evo-m or anything.... I like the way and the pace this website works, so everything on this end is pretty good from where I stand.

Sorry if you were agahst at the childish name calling members of thejdm.com engaged in, but I think perhaps your missing the light-hearted attitude of this forum... When I say things like "I tried to start a revolution at jdmu but they just hit on me, fags" I hope your not really to offended, sitting in front of your computer thinking "Oh my god this is a website full of five year olds, these hooligans" because if thats the case, yeah then I guess jdmu is way more stricktly buisness

Speaking for myself...that was the case. That was the original reason I got for my banning, then the new registrations/voting reason came up. Whatever, though. It can die now. It's done.

Anyhow, I know what you mean about the free advertising, linking to other sites, etc. If that is in fact a set in stone rule...why not enforce it, right? I mean there were alot of members that had "thejdm.com: keeping the streets clean" in their sigs, some linked to stuff on here, or even mentioned the site in certain threads. I have seen numerous signatures with clubek, e-hatch, and clubcivic in them. Are they not censored because they don't share such a strong similarity to jdmu? Or are they just on the hit list...waiting for ONE person with that in their sig to screw up so the title can be censored?

I agree with you that some things are childish in the situation, but so is arguing/fighting via the internet or instant messenger.

i think if thejdm.com is censored then they all should be... what gives other sites a right to have free advertising? if jdmu is so anal about advertising in sigs why do they even have signatures on the site? i think its low that one site was singled out because why? is it a treat to stealing memebrs?

ill admit i used to frequent that place daily and never had a problem with my signature till one day out of the blue i got an email asking for it to be removed and a link to the TOS statement... well i removed the link from my signature and i started surfing the forum looking for other people with links in there signatures... those names were documented and sent to the administator asking for removal of those links because i didnt feel it was fair to single thejdm out.. i would have to say about 1 hour after that email was sent my account was IP banned and thejdm has been censored from the site since...

you say u wont see a post made about thejdm on jdmu?? cause most of the moderating nazi's will probly delete it and have you banned.

to the admin of jdmu, dont be a pussy, stick to your guns. dont signal one site out because you think its a threat. if you are that threatened by thejdm... well you should be its a better site
