stay away from the x3... they are pieces of shit and should not have the bmw name attached to it. go for a subaru liberty xt or something. you could go passat 4motion or an audi a4, even a a3 for that matter. you could go a used a6 and be fine. honda crv if you wanted to go the suv route. you could go minivan too. you could also go bmw 3 series of 5 series and get a CPO (certified preowned) and they do the free maintance thing for like 3 years. just don't get the x3

yeah i dont want teh x3, but she freaking loves it... im also looking at the SAAB's now.. they are really nice... Also the Volvo XC90 is nice... and my family is a big volvo believer

so many choices....

Ok, question

Did someone get a new job? Because a mazda3 to a bmw or lexus is a pretty big price jump last I checked. You have a kid on the way, do you really want to bury yourself in a car payment?

Why aren't you looking at something like a CRV or RAV4 if you want a small SUV that's a bit bigger than what you have? Hell, even a ford escape... IE: something affordable?
