I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

this is miyagi...

the peakboost/phoenix turbo guy said that the turbo and wastegate placement are very close and admits there are some problems with it ... but usually you can just use the play when bolting it down and make it work .... this wasn't the case with mine, so i ended up having to order a new manifold.

the blow off valve hits the distributor

the piping doesn't line up correctly ... this may or may not be because i have the jdm front end ... but either way, doesn't work.

the downpipe hangs 3-4 inches below the oilpan .... and while it should hang lower because it's made for a 1.8 and i'm running a b16, the deck height difference is only 3/4 inch or so ...

I've only heard a few things bad about the peakboost kit ... usually nothing but good things... you gamble and try it anyway .... but it's up to you.... i wouldn't try peakboost again ... its too much of a hassle to send stuff back and junk ... and I didn't even have to deal with it personally haha ...

piping shuold work fine ... although you've gotta remember that the main charge pipe is gonna be in the same area that mine was in ... and my bov hit the distributor. And the manifold is completely useless if the turbo and manifold collide ... and the manifold is a main piece of the kit...

Good luck though, hope it works out ...

i've heard lots of good things about neukin ... almost bought one and went custom actually ... but figured it'd be easier to go peakboost ... then i ended up pretty much custom anyway... I ended up going with the rld only because it was the one that was the most readily available ... and eric (dont blink/co owner of hyrbid dynamics) runs one and reccomended it.

munster - I hear that brotha ... I've seen his work ... definately awesome and i'm not dissappointed one bit that i have to go with him instead of prefabbed stuff ...

Him along with the rest of the hybrid guys are a hell of a group ... deifnately get a HUGE  from me.... I've been referring them left and right around here ... I'm pretty sure i got a single cam turbo guy wanting them to tune, darren is gonna call about tuning his k24 when its done and duanne is thinking about asking them about doing a k20 swap/kpro tune in his 6th gen.

picture and vid updates right around the first of the year if all goes as planned  :llama:
