If the screaming stuff grows on you some more, check out Shai Hulud, Hatebreed, Dillenger Escape Plan, umm I can't think of any more but those bands are BA! (No temp, they aren't as BA as your CT2004, and if you say sour apple I will stab you in the jaw!)
I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain
Any Bands Like Motion City Soundtrack?
I had to DL some of those to see, then I realised that fallout boy is played on the radio all the time

Shai Hulud - Set Your Body Ablaze.. so good. haha
Listen to Norma Jean's Bless The Martyr Kiss the Child cd, and The Chariots "everything is alive, everything is breathing nothing is dead and nothing is bleeding" cd.
Both are pretty brutal and you will probably hate them. Or just be like wtf is this, then wait a year or so, and if you start listening to harder stuff, listen to them again.
Thats what I did with norma's cd and after I started listening to more and more harder stuff I was like 'damn this is the most brilliant cd ever'
Before I was just kind of overwhelmed by it.
Anyways, some inbetween bands, sort of bridge the gap between the poppier stuff and the real hard stuff, Across Five Aprils, Alexisonfire, new Hopesfall ( dont really like it all, but thats kuz im a big fan of the old stuff ), Saosin, Silverstien, Thrice, newer Underoath, Yesterdays Rising...bout all I can think of now..
You should check out Hopesfall "The Satellite Years" cd, the vocals are pretty much all screaming, but its really an awesome cd, and pretty easy to just put on and just jam.

Its a softer sound and I figured he may like them, I just posted up a bunch of general pop/softer sounding bands for him to look at and Death Cab just happened to pop into my head.idreamidrive wrote:how did death cab get thrown into that bunch. all i saw was... crap, crap, crap, even more crap, death cab, crap, crap
