digital cameras?

canon powershot s50 ... its a 5.0 mp camera... .. its pretty light and small which is the plus side always... it looks like a normal film camera ... youre able to do some quick set modes as well as program your own modes as with man of the other high end cameras.
the bad about it: cannot add accessories such as new lenses (fisheyes etc)... and you cannot manually adjust the focus.. which sucks when you really want to get into photography.. but its a good point and shoot camera with some cool features

i'd go with one of these (depending on what you want to spend), my boyfriend and his best friend have used these... my bf now has a nikon slr, but you'd probably want to get used to a more "functional" camera before getting one of those:

i disagree, sony is garbage. get canon or nikon. i hate my camera, even though it doesnt take such bad shots. get the nikon coolpix 4300. awesome camera. look at my thread in members rides with the STi's and WRX's. no photoshop work done.
