I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

We used to have a camp on the Juniata near the Blind Camp until it flooded and wiped it out.
Looks like we're making a trip to the Juniata.
Boob needs to come so we can tape the first episode of Kick Some Bass.

Cool munster, we're only a few miles from the Blind Camp. That big hole right there at the BC is some good fishing, we float that section of river all the time. They have a big tourney on the river the last weekend in August, Newton-Hamilton sportsmans club is the place that runs it, $20 to get it and its all you can eat all you can drink all weekend.....so you pretty much make your money back in beer. Payout for big fish is really good to, they have 5 different catagories....smallmouth, muskie, walleye, catfish, rock bass and a side pool for Carp. Payout is around $400-$450 for 1st place, $250 or so for 2nd and about $100 for 3rd in each of those catagories except rock bass. If you guys arent doing anything you should check it out, its a good time.

Did some bass fishing Sunday afternoon/evening, pretty hard fishing. I had small one on that got off and missed one that was gigantic.....prolly 6-7lb range. Got both fish to bite on a white spinnerbait......slow rolling it close to the bottom. The water was still real cold so i didnt expect to do that great. Still had a good time, nice to be back on the water.
White Spinner Bait = alot of Bass................my favorite

I figured it was about time to give this thread some love. Myself and 2 freinds did some bass fishing this afternoon, it started to rain like 30 seconds after the 1st line hit the water, got soaked and shit but it was still a good time. I didnt end up catching anything, I had 2 on that got off and missed 3 others, 1 was pretty massive....it broke my line before I even got to see it. My friends each caught 1, both were big bass, my boy John landed one 20 3/4" on a rubber worm, and my friend Dan's was 21" caught on a Jitterbug, both fat fuckers. No doubt they were spawning. Here's a pic of John's, I didnt get a chance to get one of Dan's. Sorry for the shitty quality, it was raining and my cell phone is a pos.
Here's another picture of a bass i caught in Sept., it was 24 1/4" and weighed 8lb 2oz, i caught it on a frog colored Jitterbug about 20 minutes before dark. Enjoy.
