I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

ok, for those of you who are looking for an alternative to an FM modulator, check out this site... http://www.mp3yourcar.com... mind you, i don't have my ipod yet, but i have done a lot of research... i will deffinatly be buying this once i get my ipod... it hooks up to just about any radio (factory or aftermarket) plus it charges the ipod at the same time...

thats sweet but expensive. i need to start saving.
true... but as far as sound quality goes, i think it's worth it... well atleast for me because when i painted my car, i had them shave my antenna... so an fm modulator won't work... plus i like the fact that it also charges the ipod at the same time...terror wrote:thats sweet but expensive. i need to start saving.
how does it work? is it a special clip? like a radio harness with av jacks? kinda curious,The_Civic wrote:true... but as far as sound quality goes, i think it's worth it... well atleast for me because when i painted my car, i had them shave my antenna... so an fm modulator won't work... plus i like the fact that it also charges the ipod at the same time...terror wrote:thats sweet but expensive. i need to start saving.

i have the factory radio in the del sol, with a POS cd changer connected to it... so i just picked up a cassette to cd adapter for $10... actually sounds great... and it plays fine in my sister's jeep, but i'm having some problems with the radio in the del sol (keeps switching sides of the tape unless i take it out and put it back in)
