I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

temp: CF hood vs metal hood... uhmmm I could feel that difference... CF is like 1/3 of metal...

in fenders: true.. those are light anyway...

for the hatch... you'd be off just as well, just getting rid of the glass... that's the heavy part in the back...

but to be honest: I don't really want my CR-X to get lighter in the back... I want less weight up front :)

vis cf hood weighed in at 2.2lbs lighter than teh oe sheetmetal si-r hood it replaced.

vis hoods are bullshit-there is little to no weight savings with them-they are just another show and no go piece.
i miss my hondas.

J's hoods? no clue, check their website, maybe it has the weight on there?

anyways... a 'friend' from the UK has racing spec CF hoods made... soooo... I'm getting one of those (once the car has been repainted and all)

I'm also planning a little 'Spoon racing LIP' buildup for the CR-X, as I think it suits my purposes better than the J's...

And I'm having that made in the same RaceCF :)

(for those interested... a CF J's lip will be available soon as well... but only for the JDM front end)
