I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

The Dragon - 318 Turns in 11 Miles

Post by Colin » February 13, 2008

I was reading an article in Sport Compact Car and they did a feature on a road in North Carolina/Tennesse called The Dragon. Its 318 turns in 11 miles up the side of a mountain. Definitley something I plan on doing sometime soon, sounds like a blast :p

US 129. That road is unreal. I don't even know how they paved it.

Every road in that area is a blast, though. The Dragon just has alot more elevation changes.

Best time to go is during the week. Weekend warriors choke the road out Friday - Sunday. The locals actually have other roads that they claim are even better. They just won't show you where. hahaha.

http://www.killboy.com has a ton of photos. He has a WRX that he blasts around in.
