being a douchebag would mean calling him every 5 minutes asking questions. Calling once, explaining your situation and telling him what you have observed, etc. is just asking a simple question.30stones wrote:havent called him...i thought maybe this would be an easy fix. i didnt want to seem like a douchebag and bug him with a stupid question.
I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

yeah true...just seemed like a simple problem. usually i can figure something like this out or get an answer from a buddy but everyone is stumped. i called denis and he said he isnt sure either. It doesnt go into limp mode or anything when its on so he said its nothing to be worried about. maybe the ecu so im going to pick up a new one maybe that'll work but other than that he's not sure. Eric told me to hook a lab top up to it and see if i can figure it out from there. Who knows everything seems fine so im not going to worry about it till it starts to act up or i can figure out what exactly is causing the problem.Nikku wrote:being a douchebag would mean calling him every 5 minutes asking questions. word, first thing i would do is test it by swapping out your ecu for one that you know is good and then go from there. Sometimes there are codes that are just strange and its the ecu being wonky (its a scientific term30stones wrote:yeah true...just seemed like a simple problem. usually i can figure something like this out or get an answer from a buddy but everyone is stumped. i called denis and he said he isnt sure either. again old thread sorry.
I had this same problem with my sedan, and the RHD hatch that we built at my old shop....and turns out the mystery code was 43-Fuel Supply Sytem. it would come on then clear it self.
both on Crome, Uberdata, and Hondata....once we got a good and solid tune it quit. i looked to be when the map called for more fuel the Ecu wouldn't see it right away or a delay in the map caused this code.
