I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

then come back to this thread (or register a name on the BETA forums) and make a post about if you

making progress.
new features are being developed and final and stable releases are getting closer and closer. i still have a great beta testing team on v3 pointing out bugs and playing with the features. the new arcade was installed and seems to be working pretty good with a few 'submit score' bugs on certain computers/browsers. the fix for that is comming with an update on the build.
garage is giving me some install problems that needs to be worked out and fixed once moved to the new host.
the main portal page is also at a dead end as far as the developer standpoint witch is a total bummer because its the only portal i liked. SO im learning php to where i can take over the build and or just play around with new blocks for thejdm.com ONLY.
the new gallery feature is really fantastic in its beta stages. giving you img BBcodes right there so you can use the images in your posts on the website. working with the developers to make it possible to have a 'thumbnail' dropdown pox per post letting you pick an image from your gallery for quick img posting. should be awesome! no more photobucket hotlinking, you can hotlink via the gallery!
i had alot of non thejdm.com members check out the layout and site (got the link from the development forums) and they are quite impressed with the style and everything about the forums as a matter of fact this comment from a phpBB developer was pretty awesome check it:
"Just sayin.
Way to put together a fine forum site.
I have been struggling over mine for the past couple of months and have to say your site is the best use of all the tools I have seen.
As of late I have been in a battle with the gallery feature, you seem to have been able to get it going very well.
The portal page and tab navigation is icing on the cake.
Great work"

V3 is the SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT.
Can't wait to switch. It's awesome helping checking out new features and finding where they fail. It's nice to note that, it's tough to find issues.

just an update. the developer of the portal system im running is re-writing the entire code fresh and new so thats a good sign that they are still working on the project. as far as a bad note with that im not sure what its going to take to un-install the current setup and install the new setup once released. if i even mess around with the new setup at all. i will have to see how things go. if i can play around with the code myself and get things working myself im staying with the current build.
