I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Good point....I have in my sights the K24a1 at a junk yard. Its a flood for $500. My buddy says we can rebuild and it would be cool...Now I just need the K20 head and some pistons that will fit...hmmmm...Does anyone know the answer to the question from the post above? Will Type R pistons fit as far as over head clearance?
Time to change my signature....

you mean accord type-r? K20 pistins from integra-r will not fit the k24.

I would reccomend that you find a good set of aftermarket pistons in the CR that you want and go from there. With the increased displacement of the K24 an overbore wouldn't really be necessary.

The major room for improvement in the swap would be headwork to the K20 head in order to support the higher flow requirements of the larger displacement block in the car. My bro's car feels a little choked with just the stock Type-s head. Perhaps your money would be better spent on a nice port and polish, valve job, valvetrain, and cams for the head you will source for the swap...

Might I also suggest individual throttle bodies! I'm so trying to convince my brother to do it on his swap!
finally turbo!
check the cardomain!!! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/832854

Thanks...I did judt find out that you dont have to change the pistons in the CRV motors. Hybrid racing just did one and they didnt have to change it...
