You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. Also got a question about the injectors i was sent. 1 of them is missing the end cap(toward the outlet side). Are these replacable, and if so would pulling one off my H23 injectors work fine? heres a pic to show what i mean...
Yeah they are pintel caps, you can get them at Honda for a reasonable price. They need to be replaced, that's what seats down into your IM. Without it you're going to have gas all over the place. You ought to spend the extra dollar or so and get new o-rings for the ends too, just one more thing that could set you back...
SOOOOOOO, build is being put off til next weekend. weather is shit and it just so happens that the Head Bolts that came with the head aren't for an Hseries engine. I knew they looked dif then the H23 bolts i pulled but didnt think anything of it considering i was told they are dif anyways. Turns out the only dif in the H23 bolts and H22 bolts is that the H23 has one odd size bolt thats about an inch longer than the others that goes in the middle intake side of the head, other than that the other 9 are the same. Going to order 1 now then replace all 10 next winter when i have the block done...
PS toda, how do you get those pintels off, just pull em? and where can i get them? tried autozone but all they have is an o-ring kit and they dont know if it includes them and they want 22$ for each injector and i already have new O-rings...
On another bad note, the kid with the Advans is away at school and wont be able to ship out the wheels for atleast another 3 weeks. He also wont deal through Payl Pal and wants a money order so we'll see what happens. Was pretty pumped about picking these up but we'll see. Offered him another 50$ to do it sooner, says he lives in N.Cal and goes to school in S.Cal so hopefully it will be worth him making the trip...

Well, i guess this weekend is just gonna keep getting even more fucked. Got the P28 ECU in and it looks like it might be fucked. has an obvious spot were it was overloaded and burnt out what looks to be spot Q31, hopefully it is nothing major and can be fixed but stil pissed that the dick that sold it to me told me it was fine and a virgin P28, the cover bolts were even loose so somebody had obviously checked it out before i got it

Got another ECU that is "chipped and docked with H23 VTEC maps" offered to me from a tuning shop that says they have done some H23 VTEC tunes. Want $175 shipped but will save the 50$ to get the virgin one chipped and already comes with maps loaded so might save some tuning time/money. Will see on monday when i talk to innovative and what they say they can do...

Yeah DON'T pull the pintels out. They are the little needle looking thing coming out of the injector. You can however pull the cap that goes over/around it off. (The part that you are missing on the one injector.)
