I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

[*help*] electical know how? relay dimmer.

Post by .saint » February 27, 2006

is there any way to go about making the dome light stay on a few seconds longer and then dim off? kind of like the newer honda models? i hate when i close my door the light just goes out... i think it would look a lil more classy if the dome would fade out like in the newer car models.

im not sure if its a relay or a dimmer of some sort or what... gimmie some input i think this would be a cool lil do-it yourself mod. any info would be great and i would love to put a how-to together for this.
.saint, the honda EK parts jdMuseum.
i hope i grow to be half the man my grandfather was.

Wouldn't it be something as easy as gettin a newer Civic overhead light (with all wiring)?? Just an idea here.

im searching the parts catalogs but the dome lights seem the same... im thinking it might be something in the wiring, i dont know im looking at the electical section to see if there is some sort of relay box.
