I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

If you are just getting them to show off a spoon part, I see no point to them. Unless you are a road racer or your car is exceptionally unreliable, of course.

I like to use my factory tow hooks for a jackstand point. I wouldn't be able to do that with spoon ones...at least I wouldn't want to.

personally, i like the way tow hooks look. I was actually thinking about getting some Mugen ones for my car. I would never use them, but i just like the way they look for some reason. I like the way the front one looks more than the rear one. Just adds a little more to the front end.

Thats just me. I am not to fond of making holes in my bumper though to mount them if i had to.

i had a set of spoon tow hooks, traded them for black benen hooks. i found the spoon set still in a package at this shop down here... nobody knew about them so i snagged them for 50, but i dont really care for them. probably wont install my benen ones or atleast not until my car is finished.

You dont drill holes in your bumper, you go and get a 6" Grade 8 bolt, washer, and nut, and it goes in your bumper support, no drilling at all...i have one in the front of my 93 hatch
