gf and i picked up kinect last night.

im more of a ps3 kinda guy over the xbox but the gf wanted to try that dance central game.

we ended up stumbling across a kinect sensor last night at game stop and dance central last of both (this thing is sold out everywhere around here) anyways i bought the kinect and she paid for the game. came home and hooked it up and did all the calibration stuff. the kinect came with an adventure game so i popped that in and played around for a bit. it snaps pics while you play so i did some pretty amazing poses.

as for the games/sensor its pretty neat. all you got to do is wave once u have the 360 running and the kinect will recognize your face and connect you to your gammer tag and turn the dashboard to motion control. it actually tracks motion pretty well for not wearing any type of sensor or anything. the adventure game is geared towards kids the missions and things are not hard at all but it does get ya moving and you need a pretty big area in the house because it gets ya moving quite a bit. the dance game is pretty tough some of the moves you need to be spot on to score or pass, some are pretty forgiving.

all in all its a pretty neat thing to have. i guess im more curious what other games they will be coming out with. hopefully like a mortal kombat or tekken i guess any kind of fighting game would be cool (i would hate to have to purchase a tekken game for 360 though) but it deff has some potential.

i still want to pick up a ps move also just because... i think the new socom game coming out will be pretty cool with the move and well.... socoms my fav. (it puts COD to shame, yeah i said it)

its been quit a while since i played confrontation. i was doing pretty decent there for awhile then i kind of gave up once the haunt started. but i imagine this winter i will be back at it. cant wait for 4.

i just picked up a copy of resident evil 5 gold for ps3 (i have re5 for 360 but never play it) i wanted the gold edition for 3 cause i wanted the dlc + online play on ps3 is free i didnt wanna pay for an online subscription to live + pay for the dlc. so i founf it for ps3 for 26$ niceeeee + its move compatible so when/if i pick up a move the game experience will change a bit with that.

I have a friend who works for Edelman, the PR firm that handles Microsoft's contract. She got a kinect early, and it's pretty cool. I'll never own a X-Box though. I'm pretty loyal to PS.

I'm w/ Jon on Socom. I can't wait for the next one, as well as GT5!

like i said im waiting on some different games. i think a fighting game that utilizes the whole body unlike the move or wii will really be something. it will be a great work out i could imagine.

i cant see the move exploding like there plans. granted u can make EVERY game compatible but they will still use a joystick to move and so forth. like i mentioned before im a ps3 fan but the kinect is light years over the move it has so much more potential.

They're saying Nov. 24th for GT5 now...I'm seriously not going to get my hopes up though...
