I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

What do you use to clean recaro suede seats?
I have a armor all carpet and upholstery cleaner but i'm not sure if i want to take the chance of making them worst.
speed soon.
Hi,
Your seats are actually Alcantara (car suede).
To clean them you have to be very careful. Head out to Wal-Mart and pick up the following items.
-Woolite for Dark Colors
-Terry Towels
-Spray Bottle
-Distilled Water
Mix 1 part Woolite, 6 parts distilled water in the spray bottle. Cap it, then shake up. Spray generously onto the surface of the seat. Allow to soak in for 15 seconds, then proceed to scrub with medium pressure with the terry towel in a back and forth motion. Repeat if necessary.
* THIS WORKS THE SAME FOR LEATHER SEATS AND ANYTHING VINYL/PLASTIC ON THE INTERIOR*
Now afterwards, you will want to let it dry thoroughly.
As of now, I do not know anyway to protect it. You might want to call a local dry cleaners and see what they do for suede.
If doing this treatment to leather, condition afterwards (I like Lexol Leather Conditioner). If doing this treatment on plastic or vinyl, protect afterwards with a vinyl protectant (I like 303 Aerospace).
Good Luck.
