I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

depending on the day, and how much notice we have, and if our cars are done ... altoona guys will make a good appearance. we've got 5 works in progress that are trying to make the deadline of 'opening track day' ... so that makes 6 with myself ... the track is different than car shows and meets ... we live at the track down here when we have something to drive haha.

I'm sure you can round up a few ... plus some hybrid guys and possibly some built guys ... then other random members.

Preach on my brother.....preach on. These motors are cheap enough that you can splurge for 2 cases of beer instead of just one, the good stuff to.....Schlitz. Track day would be tits, there are 4-5 people from this area that would go. It shouldnt be hard finding 20 people to commit.

Matt are you friends with someone from the D-ville/Altoona area with an EK coupe with a turbo b18b in it, i think it has a gt30r? Its the Si blueish/purple color, the body kit is molded to the car. I was talking to a few guys at that import show at Blair County Ballpark back in late summer, I dunno if you were one of them.

I'm not friends with him but i know who he is. He's part of the krazy kustomz shop around here ... i think his name is brandon jones. I didn't make it to that show - but i know which one you were talking about ...

I'm not very impressed by any of their stuff ... especially after seeing them blow their 'no joke race and show turbo'd neon' at the track last spring ... and jone's car run like a high 15 or something when it was still orange ... i'll see if i can find the video and i'll post the mother up

When they say the motor is 'built' ... they just mean there are some bolt ons ... they don't have much knowledge whatsoever. For example - the one guy was like 'yea, i built the motor in the neon originally but they must have messed up on the tune' (tune- which i might add is afc only, no dyno) ... and i asked him about his internals and he said they were stock ... hmm ... pretty hardcore build if you ask me, right?

Yea They are a bunch of guys that know big wheels and body kits thats about all. There shop is called Krazy Kustomz, I shouldn't have to say any more.

Oh and the chode that "built" that neon single handedly also owns the self proclaimed lowest Ford Probe in the world. HAHA

I kinda figured they were pretty low on the knowledge deal when they were trying to tell me an AFC is way better for tuning then a chipped ECU.

haha.

Sounds to me like they should stick to molding body kits.
