I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Tech's fault. If a CAGE slips by you and your JOB is teching cars, uhhh...

Hell when I tech for a freaking AUTOX I'm hopping in and out of the car, brake pedal, battery, helmet spec, etc. are all checked. Morons.

I think personally import dragging has reached a plateau. There used to be something to get excited about ("Papadakis just ran a 10! A 9! An 8!" remember that?) but now... the fastest FWD, last I checked, was an APC-sponsored Saturn driven by a girl.

but, hes got a point and i respect that, but he should have known what the tech rules were before he entered

His status has nothing to do with his writing ability.

I think its wrong for booting the guy if some douche squeals on him after the tech's inspected it and let it pass, i think to be fair they should have let him continue to race and put the heat on the tech's for doing such a shitty job. It is a NOPI event so you know its bigtime not some backwoods type deal so why wouldnt you have your car up to specs regardless. If he would have had a rollbar there wouldnt be any drama. I think both are at fault.

This is the way i feel about it.

I can see where he is coming from but i can also see where the protestors are coming from as well. If i take my car there with the thousands of dollars in safety equipment invested to make sure my car is legit and you got someone else that is blatently illegal I'd be pist. Roll cages weigh more than 50lbs and as for a parachute window net etc. you know what needs to be put in a car in order to qualify this is why i have lost interest in the racing events.
I built my car to what i wanted it to be clean fast STREET car i dont want to have to trip over a roll cage have a window net in my way and a parachute hanging off the back of my car just so i can go to a race track once a month or every other month.

Exactly. But why bitch when you were protested after running 10s, ya know? He blatantly knew that he was in the wrong, tech sucked, and he still bitched.
