in 95 they sent a few thousand gsts over but they were a joke. they didnt sell very well and were called GT's not gst's |

This is a true statement. The eclipses in Japan are from America. It is actually funny to see a japanese drive one to because they think they are the S#%t. http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n15063053 They are rare though, I only find one on yahoo japan. |

the 95-96 eclipse's came with the chrome headlights here too. so thats the same, so are the sidemarkers. only things that are different are the taillights, folding mirrors and the road flare..haha |

Not quite, those tail lights are the european style ones, the first generation eclipse DID have a counterpart in Japan that I believe was a non turbo 4g63 front wheel drive only, and it had Gull Wings (No joke, there are pics of this). The third gen is a horribly fucked up GTO platform, apparently Mitsu USA decided no one would want a high rev rear wheel v6 coupe so they made it front wheel and butchered the power plant. |
