I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

long time no post, update *shitty pic warning*

Post by Buff4Prez » December 12, 2006

Hey, it's been a long while since i last posted, i've been busy with life (and no it's not fun) and i kinda forgot about the site untill i was cleaning out my email and found one from the site.

anyways, after owning the car for 3 1/2 years i finally got some major upgrades done this past spring/summer.

first i ditched my steelies and EX/Si hub caps for some 92-93 gs/gsr wheels and painted them gold
Image Image then then i ditched my ebay coilover/stock strut setup and I got a Tein SS Coilover setup for cheap off a buddy that was parting his old DA. also installed ES polyurethane bushings. fronts were done when the ebay coilovers went on 3 years ago. got the LCA sand blasted and painted
Image Image Image Image september rolled around and i vowed to myself at the begining of the season to get the paint done. i went with 92-93 front and rear bumpers, Type-R style front lip. custom fit EK sides and JDM Side moldings.

This is the day i got it out of the paint shop Image Image Image 3 weeks later Image Image i don't have pics but also upgraded my exhaust to a Greddy SP1 cat-back. you can see the tip is the last pic

some other time i don't remember. i was at a lapping event but just watched a few buddies. Image as of right now it's sitting under a tarp being protected from the Canadian winter. during it's hibernation i'm building an ls/vtec, piecing together an "all in the family" big brake setup getting new wheels, and doing little odds and ends and touch ups.

thanks for the compliments guys

everyone says that all i need is wheels to finish it off and i agree, i'd have done it too if a had the funds and if winter didn't exist.

I can't afford a set of mAd tyte legit JDM rims so i'm just gonna stick with a set of gold GT3's.

JDM window visors and spoon style mirrors are still on my wish list
