I threw my bike one time at the trails. It landed on a stump on it's side and blew out four spokes. That was the last time I did that.

I dropped it into gaps to abort, but that was nothing.

All my new parts came in today. Those bastards didn't send me my rear hub. I called them and they said it was out of stock. So instead of calling me back and asking if I wanted an 8t driver instead of a 9t they just didn't send me shit. I would post some pics but it says I can't post attachments.

I've been tossing around the idea of getting a Demolition wheelset. Bulimia and Anorexia (I forget which is front or rear)

I built a custom set myself. I got the primo balance 7000 series rims in black and I'm running the primo small fllange n4 front hub and the primo pro mix cassette rear hub w/a 9 tooth driver. Both are black and I got white primo spokes. Crazy light front wheel and the back will be about 8-10oz more.

you running 36h front and rear? or a 48h rear?

im looking @ a primo mix 8t for the rear to my 22t front animal. but i cant decide if i wanna run 36h or 48h. im going with the gsport ribcage rims front and rear with a marmoset 36h hub up front. i found the rims for a lil cheaper then the balance 7k's and they seem like they are a lil more beefy.

frame came in, pressed the BB in today installed the cranks. gonna figure out what i need to do to mod the arms and bolts to make the chain fit this 22t monster sproc. haha.

i hate installing BB's busted my hand. damnit.
and getting the spacer to line up in 1 shot is a bastard.

I have a BB press. Made it out of a piece of allthread and two nuts with washers. Grease the cups and voila. Two sockets and it goes right in.

After running 48H wheels for the last few bikes I'll never go back to 36H. I hate truing wheels all of teh time. 3/8" up front w/ 14mm hollow rear. Never noticed a weight difference. Noticed that I can't find my spoke wrench because I haven't used it in forever, though.

My 36H Arayas w/ twist lace DK low flange and hollow Ti axles were stupid light, though. Especially on an AL frame.

36 front and back. The way wheels are being made now there is no need for a 48 spoke anymore. Super light and strong. Running a 22-8 is gonna be really easy to pedal.
