I'm excited to announce that thejdm is now updated to the latest phpbb 3.2 software. You may notice the site is now mobile friendly but with the upgrade comes some hiccups. theGarage, theGallery, theArcade are no longer supported. In due time the developers should be working to release the modifications to work on the new software. #LetsMakeForumsGreatAgain

Aggressive?? Hmmmm

Post by EPthree04 » November 12, 2008

been a while since i have been on here. havent been doing much to the ep3 bc i have an eg that is getting built(we will talk about that later) but i am getting a few new things for the ep so i test fitted one of many sizes that i am going to try on the ep3. this is a 17x9.5 +23 offset. its a greddy trust wheel. very rare and i only have one :( but i am just doing it for size preference soooooo... what do you guys think? i am going to mount a 215 40 17 on it 2maro and fit it up front bc its too wide for the rear but might work upfront. the rear im probably gonna look at a 17x9 +25 offset and pull the fender.

Rethink it man. Staggered size on FWD = fail.

EDIT - except on certain cars where it makes sense due to monster power.

Sure, there's ways to make it fit, but is it a good idea?

I'd like to paraphrase Jeff Goldblum's character in Jurassic Park: Your scientists were so busy trying to figure out if they could they didn't stop to think if they should.

You will notice a significant decrease in proper handling. Besides, the stance is way to aggressive for the stock body

Mmmmm, Jurassic Park throw back...

I'm imagining him saying that, but while looking like Alistair Henessy... Image For the ultimate transfilm boner jam.
