Being made in Japan does not make the product JDM. JDM stands for Japan Domestic Market. J (the country of Japan) D (within the country of Japan) M (.. market).

Most people consider Spoon wheels JDM but they are neither made in Japan nor were they only made for their market. Just a heads up.

so thats what that stands for.............. Since SW388's are made in russia, would you consider them EDM? IMO a product of japan which states Made in Japan is JDM. I purchased them through tirerack who also retails SSR and Rays Wheels, are those JDM?
